
Matt is a Registered Principal and Financial Professional with LPL Financial. His mission is to provide the highest level of financial advice and service to his clients while helping to enhance the quality of life of the Northern Colorado community. In increasingly uncertain times, Matt helps his clients identify, understand, and pursue their financial goals. He utilizes innovative risk management techniques and diverse investment strategies to provide greater clarity and confidence for his clients.
In addition to running a successful financial consulting firm, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in the community. He is currently involved with the Northern Colorado Estate Planning Council; CHAMP (Character in Athletics - Make it a Priority), which is focused on character development through youth athletics; Northern Colorado United for Youth, which supports children’s organizations and charities; and Colorado State University, through the athletic department and the College of Business. His past associations include the United Way’s Alexis de Tocqueville Society, the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
Matt graduated from Colorado State University with a Finance degree in 1993 and his MBA in 1995. He worked in corporate finance for seven years before moving to the Financial Services industry in 2002. In 2007, he received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP) designation, as well as a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Matt lives in Fort Collins with his wife Eileen and their two sons, Marcus and Julius.
